Once again our competiiton was well supported by local players and visitors from the rest of the country. Richard Aynsley and William Coughlan took on organising and umpiring duties respectively, however there was little need for either on the day.

This was a 2-day, 4-round, 400AP event using the +100 scoring system. Once again the members of WARPS provided us with a good venue in the Mini Restaurant and everyone had a great time and the games all proceeded smoothly.

Pictures

Below is a selection of pictures from the day.

Tom Worden playing James Aynsley. Padraig and Mick consider the game that lasted a lot longer than it should.........

Ouch !!! Tom Worden's Anglo Irish Knights feel the pressure from James Aynsley's Chola Elephants. That has got to hurt ....

William Coughlan's beautiful Ghurids outflanking Tony Bergin's Macedonians.

Tony watches the Ghurid right hook in awe. Perfect execution from the Boy Coughlan........

Richard Aynsley's Arabs hem Derek O'Callaghan's Welsh to the base line.

Its a serious business as Brian Bull and Donal Coghlan face off in the last round.....

Peter O'Brien of MWG again put on 25mm demonstration game. This time English Civil War..

And another picture of the demonstration game, this time a closeup to show the detail involved
